GIFT BASKETS!

Second Mouse Cheese Gift Baskets are always well received. We custom design our baskets to your wishes and budget. We’ll start with a favorite cheese (ummm, all of them!) , a theme (Bridal Shower! 50th Birthday!..) or a concept (Local Producers!..) and build from there. Our baskets are assembled in antique-inspired egg gathering baskets and stacked high. We recommend a budget starting at $50. Below are a few examples of what we have done and what we can do for you.

The Terri Basket - $100-$115

Terri’s a fan of comfort and practicality, but won’t ever turn away a hint of luxury. We paired Old Chatham (NY) Camembert (a mild variation, made with cow and sheep milks), Parmigiano-Reggiano, Catskill Provisions Honey (NY) (local and awe-inspiring), English Tea, Savor (CT) Lavender cookies, Big Picture (VT) Vanilla & Sea Salt Caramels, and a bottle of French Rose Cider. YUM.

The PAMELA Basket - $85-$100

Pamela’s always up for a little bit of adventure, but knows what she likes. She doesn’t treat herself often, so we designed this basket so that she can relish in the uniquity. Shelburne Farms (VT) Clothbound Cheddar; Von Trapp Farmstead (VT) Oma, a pudgy mild stinker; Eat This Yum (PA) Tipsy Peach spread; Enzo Organic (CA) Clementine Olive Oil ; Flouwer (CO) Herb & Flower Crisps; and Savor (CT) Fiori Shortbread. Curiously perfect. Add a can (yup, a can!) of Washington State Rose for the Mom who likes her everything.

The Gloria Basket - $85 - $115

Gloria does not treat herself at all. But she deserves some over-the-top indulgence. We put together Chaseholm Farms (NY) Nimbus, Parmigiano Reggiano (aged 2 years!), Vosges (IL) Parmesan Walnut Dark Chocolate, Sabatino Tartufo (CT) Truffle Honey, and the simplest Petit Toasts for her. If she’s so inclined, we can also throw in a demi-bottle of Spanish Sparkling Rose, because that lady deserves it.
